My greatest joy in this role is to see the changes in people as they grow and develop.
If a person’s mental wellness journey is like a flower pushing up from the ground, from wherever it has found itself planted, Holistic Psychology is the
nutrients in the soil and the water from the sky. Only the plant itself can do the growing, but it has everything it needs to make the journey upward as it
reaches for the sun.
Holistic Mental Wellbeing Sessions
Holistic mental wellbeing sessions are for those who are struggling with their mental/emotional wellbeing and are in need of support and guidance.
During these sessions I will listen to you and ask about how you are going in different areas of your life. We will talk about what is likely to be
impacting your mental wellbeing, and then focus on cultivating mental wellness while creating a life you feel deeply aligned with. Through learning how to
support your mental wellbeing physiologically and learning how to successfully move through difficult thoughts and emotions, our focus is to strengthen and
empower you so that you begin to see what it feels like to thrive and flourish.
I have a particular affinity for working with those who are highly sensitive, or those who have a major focus on caring for others in their life or work. I am also
able to assist those who are currently experiencing a spiritual crisis or awakening, and are struggling to make sense of themselves or their place in the world.
I choose not to use the concepts of diagnosis or treatment as part of helping you on your journey. I see you as whole and complete already, and part of our
work is about helping you cultivate self-compassion and self-love so that you see yourself this way also. If you require formal diagnosis for insurance
purposes etc you will need to see another Psychologist that offers this service.
I work with adults 18 and over, but if you are looking for an excellent Clinical Psychologist in Hamilton to work with a child or teenager feel free to get in touch
and I can point you in the right direction.
Holistic Mental Wellbeing Group Programme
This is a six week group programme that teaches all of the elements of Holistic Mental Health that I have studied and practiced over the years.
It is based on the Whare Tapa Wha model, where Physical, Mental/Emotional, Spiritual, Social and Environmental aspects of wellbeing are taken into account,
and sessions are spent gaining knowledge and learning skills to increase mental wellbeing.
In this course we cover:
Nutrition and mental health
Nature and mental wellbeing
High sensitivity and being empathic
Dealing with painful emotions
Tuning in to your intuition

I am pleased to offer new payment options this year for sessions.
Option 1: $155 per hour for individual sessions (or $25 per hour for group sessions in the Holistic Mental Wellbeing Programme) OR
Option 2: 1 hour of your time through Waikato Timebanking (sharing your skills/talents/services with other members of the community organisation-
like a time-swap) OR
Option 3: Other koha of your choice, that is earth-friendly (e.g. veges from your garden, something you made).
